Traffic in Hanoi - Risk ranking

When you travel on streets in Hanoi or any other cities of Vietnam, especially by motorbike, there are many kinds of people travelling on streets. Some people driving his motorbike makes everybody feel nervous.

According our experience, we want to point out some people on road who potentially are dangerous.

1. Very dangerous :

Young people drives motorbike without helmet.
They drive very fast and they usually disobey the law.

Stay away from them.

Buses, yes, the public transportation, but in Hanoi, they are called "the Death, the Reaper on road". If you see one bus coming close to you, you should slow down your motorbike and wait until the bus goes far.

2. Dangerous

Young man drives motorbike with heavy luggage and drives too fast.

In Vietnam, the streets are narrow and cars going on road, generally, make people travelling on motorbike feel nervous, because they usually go on motorbike ways and transgress the part of motorbike ways.

Teenagers travel on electric-bicycle. They move fast and quiet. I mean electric-bicycle is the mean of transportation which is make no noise when going on roads, so they can suddently speed up and cross over you without any warning, and their speed equals to motorbike's speed. And the drivers are too young.

3. Safe and normal risk:

People travelling with their helmet.

 Bicycles.

 Tricyclo.
